Kristin has been both the Senior Director of Digital Strategy and Marketing Strategy at Fusion for 5 years. While working in both teams, Kristin is able to bridge a connection between Fusion’s Sales and Marketing and align both strategies.
A: There is no typical day, but I enjoy the variety. Because I have a dual role, serving as Fusion’s Marketing Director and as a Digital Strategy Director consulting with clients, my days are filled with things like marketing strategy brainstorming, team meetings, new sales pursuit conversations, and client project work.
A: I worked as VP, helping to grow a digital marketing agency. I was the third employee hired, and over 3 years, we grew the company to a multi-million dollar agency. It was a crazy time filled with all the typical highs and lows of startup life. I learned a LOT during that time— it was like getting an “on-the-job” MBA.
A: I’ve always loved marketing. As I grew in my career, I started moving into strategy roles and really enjoyed helping solve business problems, and ultimately, growing businesses.
A: I wanted to be a dolphin trainer.
A: My top business books are “The Hard Thing About Hard Things,” “It’s Your Ship,” “E-myth,” and almost any Patrick Lencioni book.
